Welcome to the 202-2021 School year. Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Ms. Jacobson. I am a Tucson native and was raised in the TUSD School district. I attended Kellond and Sewell Elementary schools, Utterback Jr. High School, and Rincon High School. I furthered my education at NAU then completed my BA in Liberal Studies from California State University Fullerton. I then obtained my K-8 Teaching Credential from Concordia University in Irvine, CA in 2000.

 

I am a mother of three amazing boys, Brad, Matt, and Chance. I am also blessed to be a step mother to Josie and JJ, two wonderful individuals who brighten up my life on a daily basis. I met my spouse, Jay, while in HS and we reconnected years later and formed a special extended family.

 

It is my pleasure to be an English Language Arts Teacher following in the footsteps of my beloved Aunt who taught English at Rincon High School for over 30 years. I am also very proud to be following in my cousin's footsteps, Ms. Karen Bannon, who was a MS Yearbook Teacher/Advisor for over 20 years. I suppose you can say that teaching is our family business.
